We're not in the restoration business. We're in the peace of mind business.

A flooded basement isn't just a flooded basement. It's your home — the place your family feels safe, the biggest investment you'll ever make, the place you come back to when everything else goes sideways.

When it's damaged, that safety disappears.

Our job isn't just to dry the floors. It's to give you that feeling back — the one where you walk through the door and everything is okay.

We handle the worst of it. You get your home back.

What we actually do

We're not in the restoration business.
We're in the peace of mind business.

A house isn't drywall and flooring. It's where your family feels safe. When that safety is suddenly gone — ceiling on the floor, water under your feet, smoke in everything you own — you don't need a contractor with a clipboard. You need someone who understands what's actually at stake.

We show up calm. We tell you what we see. We tell you what happens next. Then we make your home yours again — not patched, not "good enough for the insurance company." Made whole.

When you call

From first call
to stable.

01

We answer the phone

A trained restoration specialist — not a call center. You explain what happened. We start a plan before we hang up.

02

We stop the damage

On-site fast. We identify the source, halt the progression, and stabilize the property before it gets worse.

03

We document everything

Moisture maps, thermal imaging, photo records. The kind of documentation your insurance adjuster respects.

04

We hand off cleanly

When mitigation is done, we connect you with a vetted local rebuild partner — and stay in the loop until your home is whole again.

Where we stop — and who takes it from there

We mitigate.
They rebuild.

We're a mitigation company, not a general contractor. That's a feature, not a limitation. It means we're specialists at the part that matters most in the first 72 hours — stopping the damage, drying the structure, removing what's contaminated, and documenting everything for your insurance.

When mitigation is complete and it's time to put drywall, flooring, and finishes back in, we hand you off to a vetted local rebuild partner we've worked with for years. We make the introduction, share the documentation, and stay in the loop until your home is whole — so nothing falls through the cracks between trades.

One phone call. Two specialists. No scope gap.

Why we exist

We built this because we saw it done
wrong.

Chris and Joyce spent years in restoration before starting Expert Restoration. They watched what happened when a large commercial job came in: residential crews got pulled. Homeowners waiting on flooded kitchens became afterthoughts. Corners got cut to satisfy carrier guidelines instead of the people who actually lived in those homes.

So they left. And they built Expert Restoration around one principle: the homeowner is never deprioritized. Not for a larger job, not for a better margin, not for a carrier’s convenience.

You matter. Your home matters. That’s why we’re here.

Our full story
The story we carry into every job

“This is the best worst thing that has ever happened to me.”

A customer called on a Sunday. Her home was flooding. When we arrived, we found a house full of belongings from people she had loved and lost — one after another. She wasn’t a hoarder. She was a grieving person who didn’t know where to start.

We sat down, had coffee, and made a plan. Not a restoration plan. A person plan.

Day one: remove the obvious. Days two and three: sort the sentimental, donate what she wanted gone, dispose of the rest. Day four: rest — mentally rest. Day five: materials removal and active drying begins.

On day five, she looked at us with tears in her eyes and said those words.

That’s the question we ask on every job: how do we make this the best worst thing that’s ever happened to them?

"Expert went the extra mile to ensure our project was completed. The owners Chris and Joyce are very involved and Bobby and Gideon were great — they were all very professional. Constantly communicating with us throughout the project. I would highly recommend them to anyone."
